Dr. Garrett McCarter (Dr. G) is passionate about helping people move and function better, all starting in 2014 when he began coaching CrossFit classes. His interest in improving form and function with athletes eventually led to his desire to become a practitioner, with a mission to facilitate one-on-one collaboration with patients. Empowering them to take control of certain aspects of their own health and wellness. After completing his undergraduate and receiving his B.S in Biology with a focus in biomedical sciences from the University of Arizona, he attended the University of Western States Doctor of Chiropractic program and graduated in September 2022. Dr. G uses a multifaceted approach to caring for each of his patients that aims to improve functional ability and reduce the imbalances that may be contributing to their aches and pains. He draws on his experience as a fitness instructor to inspire patients to take an active role in their treatment plans, providing individualized and accessible tools they can implement into their daily lives to move as fully and freely as possible

Outside of the clinic you can find him exploring the Tucson valley and surrounding Sky Islands, riding the bike trails, rock climbing, hiking and paddleboarding with his dog (Anaba), spending time with his chickens (Donna, Dulce, Darby, aka- The Girls) and bunnies (Raz and Licorice), or enjoying a craft brew with friends at the best local coffee shops and breweries the city has to offer.
